Overview

These terms apply when you use the Mileward online store or buy from us. “Mileward”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mileward, Peregrine Road, Ilford, IG6 3SZ, United Kingdom. Contact: info@mileward.co.uk. Our store is powered by Shopify.

Products and information

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Screen colours and minor manufacturing details may vary. MidRide is a comfort base layer; it is not CE-certified armour, impact protection or abrasion-resistant motorcycle protective equipment. Always use appropriate certified riding equipment and follow the product instructions.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable UK taxes unless stated otherwise. The total price, any delivery charge and available payment methods are shown before you place your order. We do not operate a subscription for MidRide unless a separate subscription offer is clearly selected and agreed.

Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation accepting the order. We may refuse or cancel an order where payment is not authorised, stock is unavailable, information is clearly incorrect or fraud is suspected. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid.

Delivery

Our UK delivery arrangements and estimates are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates, but we remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or a person you nominate. Nothing in these terms removes rights available under UK consumer law.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your cancellation, return and refund rights are set out in our Return and Refund Policy. UK consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period for most online purchases, in addition to rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the store, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, interfere with other users, use the store unlawfully or provide false payment or delivery information.

Intellectual property

The Mileward name, site design, original copy, graphics and other original content belong to Mileward or our licensors. You may use the store for personal shopping but may not copy, republish or commercially exploit protected content without permission.

Reviews and customer content

If you submit a review, photo or other content, it must reflect your genuine experience and must not be unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringe another person’s rights. We may moderate or remove content for those reasons. Submission gives us a non-exclusive permission to display it in connection with Mileward. We do not present test or sample reviews as verified purchases.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
